New poll shows 59% of New Zealanders happy with MMP

(March 30, 2008) Having now used the mixed-member proportional (MMP) voting system in four general elections, a healthy majority of New Zealanders like this new approach to electoral politics, according to a recent poll. Conducted in March for digital channel TVNZ 7, the poll found 59% of New Zealanders are generally happy with their proportional voting system.
